Search Engines
You may say that search engines don't mean that much to you, but they do because the links you have on your site help with the rankings (how high in the results page you are placed).
Also the content and text you have within your site helps when people enter search terms in "search engines" like Google, ask, yahoo ect.. because I enter meta tag keywords when coding your site, and these keywords represent your business / products /area.
